Liheap Office Manager
To carry out a project to administer and operate a heating and energy assistance program for low income (LIHEAP) residents in Cape May County.
To provide services to program clients including eligibility determination, prioritizing and registering energy assistance applications, scanning applications into electronic filing system & assisting with crisis energy program coordination as needed. Filing, Copying, Answering phones.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Attend conferences & trainings as assigned.
High School or G.E.D. Diploma College degree a plus.
Good writing and verbal skills in Spanish and English.
Preferably, two years experience in case-management work.
Demonstrated involvement in community organizations/advocacy.
Knowledge of Cape May County
Ability to analyze problems and search for possible alternatives.
Experience with Liheap/USF programs a plus
Individual hired must sign a “Request for Criminal History Record Information Authorization.” Completed by the NJ State Police, State Bureau of Identification.
Must possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License
