At Jersey Cape's Day Program, adults over 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cape May County achieve new goals, interact with others, and enjoy meaningful activities. The program provides social and community-based opportunities while addressing each individual’s needs. Participants volunteer in the community and learn how to work together as a team. They also construct arts and crafts. The program is centrally located at our Cape May Court House location, operates year-round, and is approved by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) for qualified persons. Participants maintain a structured day for up to 30 hours a week with transportation provided by Cape May County Fare Free Transportation.
The Day Program has created several arts & crafts items through upcycling! You can purchase them direct from our website and we will ship them to you! Sales directly support our 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation's disability, youth, workforce development, and veterans programs. Buy now at jerseycape.org/dayprogramcreations.
