Disability Services

The Disability Services division of Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Training, and Opportunity Center, Inc. assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Jersey Cape region in transition planning, college and post-secondary options, vocational training, supported employment, benefits coordination, day program and enrichment opportunities, health and wellness support options, and preparing for and acquiring employment. We have 50 years of experience and success in assisting disabled individuals with their desire to work and we are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Overall, this results in a positive effect on the region's unique economy and workforce development.

Benefits Counseling

Helping individuals with disabilities and their families understand how employment and other life decisions will impact their benefits.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)

A special opportunity for those ages 14-21 and currently enrolled in high school or college to prepare to enter the workforce.

Transitional Employment

Vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities who need assistance in finding and sustaining employment.

Day Program

A daytime option for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Supported Employment (SE)

A mobile and community-based service that provides assistance in the selection, attainment, and retention of integrated employment.

Out-of-School Youth Employment Services

Assisting individuals ages 16-24 who are not in school in planning a career path and developing relevant job skills.

Ticket to Work

Assistance for Social Security disability beneficiaries age 18 through 64 who want to improve their earning potential.
