Janitorial Supervisor

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour

 

Sign on Bonus! 

Three Month Bonus, after successful 90 days! 

 

Job Description:

Jersey Cape is seeking to hire full-time & seasonal (May-October) evening and weekend 25-40 hours a week.

 

Janitors to work supervising at least one other person cleaning the Comfort Stations (Beach Restrooms) along Beach Ave in Cape May until October 2026.  

 

Available Schedules:

  • Wednesday to Sunday 2pm-10pm

  • Friday to Wednesday 2pm-10pm

Job Details:

Janitors are responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment in accordance with the scope of work. Ideal applicants will be able to adapt to a changing work environment in various offsite settings. Daytime, late afternoon or evening shifts available. Jersey Cape services locations throughout Cape May and Cumberland County and the ability to travel between sites is essential. Qualified individuals must be able to push/pull/lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion. Employment contingent upon results of background and driver's license checks.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Must have effective verbal communication skills.

  • Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Good physical stamina and work tolerance.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Ability to work under stress and maintain an even temperament.

  • Knowledge of proper and safe use of equipment and supplies in performing general janitorial tasks.

  • Prior janitorial experience is a plus
